The homecoming court was richly attired as the crowning ceremonies began at halftime. Bonnie Edwards, last year's queen, crowned Lois Cauley, the new 1984 homecoming queen. The game itself did not live up to everyone's hopes and expecta- tions. The Chiefs lost to the Fort Stockton Panthers 14 to 7. Gangster and flapper, Jeff Sanders, sophomore, and Lisa Stinnett, senior, shoot the breeze. Sophomore cowboy, Janet Sheen-McGuire shows that cowboys have to study, too. Captain Lake View, alias Dean Gill, senior, saves the day as Gary Carroll and Randy Havard, seniors, approve of the action. The cheerleaders, dress up as pillow people for the homecoming pep rally.
