Torch (TWSO The Torch Honor Society was composed of forty members. The officers for the year were: President—Barbara Ness. Vice-president—Lawrence Brooks. Secretary—Lorraine Adams. Council Representative—Irene Grimm. Adviser—Mr. Bancroft. The Torch Society presented noon movies for the second year. They also held their annual party and sponsored a dance. F. F. A. The F.F.A. this year had forty-seven paid up members. In October, fif- teen F.F.A. boys showed stock at the Monroe Cavalcade of the Valleys The F.F.A. purchased a Ford Ferguson tractor this year and are doing custom work with it. In February, the annual Father and Son Banquet was held. In April, seven beys took stock down to the fat stock show in Auburn. Besides these activities the different judging teams attended various contests in the state. On one occasion, several boys, along with Mr. Hedlund, went up to Chilli- wack, British Columbia, for the annual fair.
