FOREWORD The 1939 Pilchuc contains a complete record of the happenings of the class of '39 during the four years of its High School career. It is written in commemoration of Washing' ton’s Golden Jubilee, celebrating its 50th year of progress as a State of the Union. We have, herein, attempted to portray to you the remarkable advancement which we, as a State and as a people, have accomplished. We sincerely hope this Annual will bring to its readers much joy and happiness now and in the years to come.
