Ghss Jlglsfozy As we review the colorful experiences of our grade and high school days, we can picture the changing scenes from the frolicking first grade to the wiser twelfth grade. Grade school days were cheerful and carefree. Junior High, was our first step toward high school. Somehow we managed to make it through junior high. Freshmen at last! We began to raise money for our class by giving our freshman dance 'Spring Swing. This was a great success and lots of fun. We entered our Sophomore year with great hopes for the future. At our first class meeting we elected our class officers. They were: Ed Kravitz, president: Ed Martin, vice president, Marlene Salatinch, treasurer, and Shirley Iohnson, secretary. Our student council representatives were Ron Gagnon, Doug Graham and Jerry Keller. Plans for the rest of the year were made. Our first activity of the year was selling felt letters. This was a big success and was very profitable. As basketball season approached, another idea came into our minds, to sell pencils with the basketball schedules printed on them. with the coming of Christmas, we sponsored a decorative Christmas dance, Rudolph Ramble, which attracted many students. Our second dance, 'The Mammy Yokum Drag, was held in the spring atmosphere and all enjoyed themselves. At the beginning of our Junior year we chose class officers and student council re- presentatives. We started our year by selling magazine subscriptions. The campaign was very successful. We had the concessions and dances after some of the football and basketball games. Then in December our class rings arrived. One of our most important and most successful events was our class play Professor, How Could You. It was enjoyable to the audience as well as the ones who participated in it. The highlight of the year was the Junior-Senior prom which was held in June. To end a busy year we had a Junior-Senior picnic at Stony Lake. We treated the Seniors and really had a wonderful time. Seniors! Again we elected our class officers. These are the same officers we have had for the past three years. Our last year in high school started out with a bang. There were senior pictures, the Christmas card sale, just a few activities to start us out. To add to the excitement were the concessions and dances after the basketball game. We can't forget the wonderful times we had at the roller skating parties we had at Mr. Cle- ments. Other important events during the year were the Boy Scout-Senior Camival and the Junior-Senior picnic. Then before we knew it, we were climbing aboard the train heading for Washington, D. C. At last we were on our way. The trip was just too won- derful to describe. We agreed it was worth working for. We returned just in time for the Junior-Senior prom. It would take books to tell of the wonderful times we had in our Senior year. When we walk up to get our diplomas on Commencement night we know that there are many memories that we will never forget of our high school days. With regret and joy we look forward to new experiences and new situations in the future.
