Finishing the season with 5 wins, 2 losses, Lake Shore lost only to Clarence and Orchard Park in meets that were extremely competitive. The '67 season was one for breaking many records. Jim Nasternak broke the school long jump record with a 20' jump. Bill Zoeller broke the school triple jump record 3 times with a final jump of 45' l.5 . The mile medley team of Paul Chiavet- ta, Matt Frost, Gary Stubler, and Pete Collopy broke the school record with a 3.53 minute run. Pete Collopy, the best 440 runner in the history oi L.S.C. broke the Western New York and school records with a time of 50.2 seconds. The most valuable player award went to Pete Collopy for the second year in a row and the most improved player award went to Ralph Walters. The 1968 Track Team will be composed of 14 returning Lettermen. The outlook for the future appears bright as coaches Buier and Eddy prepare for another winning season. ,
