FOR T HE RECORD The business men of the town of Angola and the members of the Lions Club graciously got together and planned a banquet in honor of the L. S. C. football team of 1953. On arriving at the banquet at seven-thirty on December 2, we found the school gymnasium .filled with friends, relatives, honored guests, cheerleaders, and, most of all, football players. With Chuck Healy as master of ceremonies, everything went very smoothly. Awards were presented by the three coaches to the players and the cheerleaders. The pro- gram was climaxed by the presentation of trophies to the coaches. The co-captains of the varsity team, John and Newton Patterson, presented Coach Found and Coach Kinn with trophies in honor of their successful year in football. Sonja Solberg, captain of the cheerleaders, presented Mrs. Camplin with a trophy also. This banquet was one of the most successful events at Lake Shore Central this year.
