CUT 0F THE CLD For the next inn he spurs amain, in haste alights, and scuds away - But time and tide for no man stay. Since the inauguration ot Lake Shore Central High School, tour years ago, time has passed rapidly. The world has changed, student needs have changed, and our school has changed. Now as we prepare to leave we can look back through tour years of pleasant memories to the long hours spent downtown, the long wait tor the late bus, the tun we had in the rather obsolete lab in the back of room 201, and the way everyone quickly stepped out ot the path ot the grade school children who rushed from the high school to the grade school every morning. We shall also recall the long attendance lines and the growth ol the attendance office from a chair, to a desk, and tinally to a small office. With the growth ot enrollment, classrooms began to spread to the annex and to down- town buildings, tour twenty-minute lunch periods were organized instead ot the usual lunch hour because ot the crowded cafeteria, and this year, the Senior class was divided into three homerooms instead ot being united in the traditional Senior homeroom 203. Yes, time has passed quickly, our student body and our taculty have grown. Because of this growth, the passing ot time, and changing needs, we are forced to leave our present school and move to a new and larger one.
