As an added attraction, the boys attended a play day at Clarence on March 8. First Row, Left to right: Raymond Newcomb, Anthony Chiavetta, Jack Tyler, John Downes, George Dimitroff. Under the new assistant coach, Mr. Kin, these players have proven themselves to be a group of scrappers even though they have faced much tougher opposition. These boys spend their Tuesday and Friday evenings on the basketball court while the spectators sit along the sidelines and make a variety of noises to express their feelings. Just as well-trained musicians can produce a melodious tone, so these boys, by their consistent victories, have displayed teamwork, coordination, perseverance and deter- mination. -54-
