No musical organization can functuon properly wuthout harmony It us we the under rlassmen who add our tones of harmony to the Seniors top note of melody to produce a chord Thus chord rich in tone and strong in volume is symbolic of our school e We the Class of 53 have collectively added our note to this year s harmonious chord With Daniel Littlefield as our leader we held our first social event the Hay l-lop hay rude and dance We iouned the Seniors un January to present the Junior Senior Dance All of us are looking forward to the Farewell Tea and anxiously we await our Senior year Lowering the tone we the Sophomores have also added out note ln December we held the traditional Sophomore party with the Freshmen as our guests Under the able leadership of John Patterson we have completed a most successful year The last harmonious note has been added by the Freshmen After electing Dennis Warwick as our president our chief goal has been accustomung ourselves to the faster tempo of hugh school lufe The main social event on our calendar was a sprung party The Junior Hugh Department acts as a prelude to the hugh school Composed of the Seventh and Eighth grades we fund them a most energetic group This year Floyd Tyler us president of our Eighth Grade ln November we presented a Thanksgiving play With graduation as our goal we will contunue to study and work together One of the most active classes here at Lake Shore is the Seventh Grade. With Jerry Clark as president some of our projects have been filling Christmas boxes having a Christmas party and studying the early history of our community.
