THE ANNUAL STAFF of QULNAULT HIGH SCHOOL AMANDA PARK, WASHINGTON presents THE TIMBERLINE of 1960 QUINAULT LAKE Qulnault Lake, 5 miles long and 3i miles wide is one of the most enchanting spots in our country. A variety of wild life roams the shores. Abundant scenery, admired by early settlers, made them forget the tribulations of trav- eling in such a wilderness. The landscape of the lake has attracted many travelers ever since it was first discovered. The placid beauty of the lake at dusk with only a few quiet ripples, the majestic beauty of the wild waves in a hard storm, the laziness of sitting in a boat with a fishing pole--that's the way we remember lt, in the splendor of its setting with its message of peace. 14 gf-fX., Q1 goarcl of gmacafion .M 'vp 14 V Y' yr' 'C-5 gm ,ibriuera 1 Q i Charles Miller, Sherb Moody, Mr. Higley, Mr. Paull, Claude McAlpin, Gordon Simmons, Mr. Bland, Mr. Cowden, Elvin Olson, Clarence Esses. W, sys ' s vr '-I rv it 1 Senior C1444 Prvpievy Here we are, Sharon Nation and Jane Gravatt, in the year of 1995 getting ready to take off 1n our private jet airplane for New York. After landing in New York, we went straight to Carnegie Hall where we saw Mary Osborn making her debut on the stage. By eleven thirty the next morning, we were flying over Texas where we could see the many oil wells of the famous oil tycoon, Gene Young. While visiting Hollywood, we happened to see Larry Bggll, who is starring in his own production, NTall Paull . Looking down while flying near Las Vegas, we saw a huge neon sign reading nGay's Riding Stables'. We ,always knew Gay Binlon would devote her life to the humane society. In Las Vegas we saw another neon sign blinking off and on saying 'Daddies Poolhalln. Of course this could be no- body else but Bob Daman and Gary Fairchild. Returning to our old stomping grounds we saw Ruth Watters who is the big high society matron of Qulnault and is really running the town. Of course the World's Heavy-Weight Boxing Champ is our old buddy Philip Fishel. Also at Old Quinault was Jackie Crick and her hubby. She hasn't changed, however, their house seems a little more fully occupied. At Cape Canaveral, Florida, we met General Louis Pickett. However we didn't get to visit with him long sfnce he had to blast-off for Mars for a Summit Meeting. '-U Gene Amsbury now runs the largest used hot-rod lot in New York. Visiting the night clubs of the South, we saw the famous singer, Gladys Peabody swinging to the m sic of Kenny Carlyle's Dixie Land Band. ' Now we are visiting Linda Carlyle, who is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Xtmzop in the deepest jungles of Africa. I don't think you'll be hearing from us anymore, the natives here want to cook us for dinner. Help! enior Cfadd We the model class of 1960, perfect sportsman, infallible students, and all-round super people, being of the soundest mind possible, do hereby bequeath to our heirs ithe poor slaves the following worldly possessions: Mary Osborn leaves her musical ability to Mr. Bridges. Gladys Peabod R Ruth Watters leave with this thought in mind, 'Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die ---- T!!n Louis Pickett leaves his quiet ways to David Brunstad.
