Helen Gottsleben, secretary Administration Puts Education Together The LPHS Administration went through many changes in 1983-84. The biggest was the announcement from B.J. Gottsleben of his res- ignation of superintendant. B.J. retired after thirteen years of service to the educating of Lake Preston's youth. His wife Helen also re- tired in 1984. She worked as a secretary and food advisor for nine years. Jim Teller was hired as the new elementary school principal and sixth grade teacher. He came to Lake Pres- ton after working for some time in Platte. An- other new face on the LPHS administrative force was Jewel Janssen. Mrs. Janssen was hired as business manager in March of '84. Betty Wienk, secretary, has been a familiar face for three years now and plans on staying at LPHS many more. Paul Nelson has served as principal for two years along with teaching eighth grade science. Jewel Janssen, business manager. 5
