1974-75 Honor Students Valedictorian and Salutatorians were excluded from the graduation ceremonies when Hallie Svihel and Kathy Kazmerzak were chosen as Honor Graduates. The HONOR GRADUATES were selected by grade average throughout their four years of high school. Co-Valedictorians L to R; Cathy Kazmerzak and Hallie Svihel. Boy and Girl Staters Girls and Boys state was a week of citizenship train- ing and democracy. Students chosen to go received an opportunity to study the government on city, county and state levels by active participation. Those that attended needed to have a definite interest in the government, be in the top 1 3 of their class, and show qualities of leadership in home, class, and community. 14 Boys and Girls Staters: Front Row L to R; Tammy Stevens, Dyan Rossel, Joyce Smith, Renae Williams, and Glenda Johnson.
