Time 9a Pa At Eighteen green Freshmen found their way to the halls of Preston High. The first highlight of the year was initiation; the girls wore longlegged underwear dyed green and on each foot wore a cake pan and five buckle overshoes. The boys wore gunny sack dresses and cookie cutters for earrings, and wore a high heel shoe and bed- room slippers and carried a half pail of sand. Mr. Madsen was our class adviser and Mrs. Nick Thomsen our class mother. Sharon Casper was candidate for Homecoming Queen. Norma Paulson moved away during the year. The highlight of the year was the all school picnic at Lake Kam- peska.
