J.V. BOYS The J.V. Boys' Soccer Team hod a fine season this year, ending up with o record of 10-1-1. Their only toss was to Lakeridge and their tie was with Cennteniol. Under the leadership of Dominique Yombisu the team excelled in team work. Their defense was outstanding, only giving up 4 goals. The defense was headed by captain John Forsythe, Mott Runyan, and Eric Christiansen. Leoding scorer for the team was David Frankel. According to coach Yombisu the team ployed with on enthusiastic and aggressive style. Many of the players on the team should fill in the spots of the leaving Seniors. Top Right. FROSH The Frosh Boys' soccer ream hod on excellent season this year with o 9-2-1 record. According to Mr. Mostroleo it was the best freshman ream to hove ployed or Lake Oswego since he has coached here. The high point of rhe season was two wins over Lokeridge and shutouts at that! Mr. Mostroleo aedited rhe successful team to great defense. Freshman goalie sensation Mike Loebo hod o record six shutouts and is certainly destined for great things. Along to help rhe goalie was also o great bock line. The most improved player Greg Go bier, sweeper Thod Hendrickson, and Greg Dorsey cemented rhe strong defensive play. But in order to win you have to score, and this team hod o fine scorer in John Groeper. An aggressive player, who according to Mr. Mostroleo was the best skilled freshman ' Kevin Murawski, and rhe Bacon brothers Mike and Mart also added to rhe scoring punch. The team had a great attitude and really worked hard. Their skill level and conditioning helped to acquire their great season.
