FRESHMAN FOOTBALL The Freshman football ream hod a disappointing season, finishing with a record of 1-7. The team was plogued with injuries and since the team wos not able to properly fill these spots, they were destined for defeat. Besides these faults, there were some outstanding individual efforts. Mike Metge was the leading ground gainer, os he rushed for over 500 yards. Defensively, the team was led by good efforts from John Bullock, Don Eckton, and Craig Fleichman. J. V. FOOTBALL This year's J.V. Football team hod o good season, finishing with o 6-3 record overall. The team was mostly composed of Sophomores and was blessed with quickness. Offensively the team wos led by the rushing from flanker Brett Lyborger and tailback, Scott Corr. The defensive squad was headed by Andy Luetjen, Jim Miller and Greg Krous. Injuries ond the bss of starters to the Varsity team explained the bss to Lokerbge in the finol gome of the season, o 30-0 trouncing. VOLLEYBALL The Loker Varsity Volleyball team had a very successful season, going into state playoffs with an undefeated record. They went into store and won their first two gomes easily but suffered o very disappointing loss to Corvalis in their third gome. This qave them 3rd place in store. Team captain Karen Kuhn and Julie Steding did outstanding jobs this year. Also to be commended are Julie Peebles and Beth Hording.
