sé EI e 3 Ab iw mn — — I d --— on —— SS — Leadership Workshop Student leaders along with adminis- trators packed off to Sports Acres early on Saturday morning. Even though it was the day after Homecoming, people were still able to muster enough energy and thought to make it all worthwhile. Topics of discussion included faculty involvement in student government and changes in student rights and responsi- bilities. These discussions were very pro- ductive and united the leaders toward reaching some of the goals brought out. Highlighting the weekend were folk dancing Saturday night, a free-for-all tal- ent show, and several raids through Cabins A and B by Cabins D and E and vice-versa. There was also a huge water fight fol- lowing the talent show, and almost all got involved whether they wanted to or not. Also a game of coed football, which was dubbed the Mud Bowl , was played in the pouring rain. Sunday morning everyone got the op- portunity to take aim at the administra- tors with questions and comments during the administrative “hot seal . TOP: Ann Swearingen and Gail Christian lead the square dancing. BOTTOM: Ralph Cunningham entertains with several guitar numbers.

Forty Carats To open its season, LO chose this smash Broadway comedy by Jay Allen. The play dealth with the romance of a 40-year old divorcee who fell in love with a youth of 22. Upon returning from Greece, where this love affair occurred, she still had to face the problems that faced her when she left--what to do with a 17-year old daughter, a mother of eccen- tric nature, an ex-husband whose career was quickly fading, and the affections of a 45-year old rich Texan who is courting her. And then the youth she met in Greece shows up to date her daughter! LEFT: Marge Schenk (Mrs. Adams) confers with Robin Wall (Mrs. Mar- golin) in the real estate office. RIGHT: Director Ken Lewis applies the final makeup touches to Kim Biggs, transforming her into the 40-year old Ann Stanley. BOTTOM: Jeff Pittenger (Eddy Edwards) turns all his Southern charm on Darcy Butterfield (Maud Hayes) while Jill Sorenson (Trina Stanley) and Jim Brown (Peter Latham) watch.
