CLASS PROPH CY It is past midnight, and I sit here still without an inspiration for this prophecy. I fight to keep awake. I rise from my chair and turn on the television to get the news, and to my amazement I recognize our old friends and classmates from the class of '55 in thg year ' S. The first picture that comes into sight is of Peter Von Jagow sitting in his study with his bone-rimmed glasses in pos1tTEn pre- paring his lecture for tomorrow's classes on the campus. He nas become a beloved professor in a noted German university. Next we see Larr Catt putting on a clean apron to he worn during his day's work in his very sucessful grocery and meat market. And behind the counter is his chief meat slicer, Marlene Dailey. We see Arloa Lite sitting hehind a desk in the Bell Telephone Company office In Grand Rapids. She has big plang for a neat little house. Several of our former clgggmatgg have gene into the field of medicine. After having the best of training gay Darby and Frances Pea ock are working as trained nurses in a hosp ta established Sy the chfef doctor, Sandra Livingston. Nearing our home town of Lake Odessa we find a huge da1r farm with an adjoining dairy Har owned by Lester Jackson. Working as his chief- cook-and-bottle washer is Charlotte Hanshum. In the center of a large city we see Pat Stearns working as a blue- print drawer. Phillip Senters and Howard Wilson are busy nalnting portraits of famous peop e. They also run a cartoon strip in the local paper. Looking towards Indianapolis we see Mason Hershiser is running his fastest car in the race this year. As his chief mechanic we find Connie Branch. Two of our classmates have gone into television on a new program, nIn My 0pin1on.n They are Lester Fawley and Elwyn Grant. Turning toward the stadium at East Lansing we see a former all- conference football player from Lake O'. He, of course, is Glen Desvranves. Settling down to the daily routine of milking cows and feeding chickens of a farm near Woodland is Helen Davis and her husband. Not far from there we find another little farm where Nancy Smith hangs her hat. Qlgigg Curtis is the proprietor of a large dairy farm with Della and Donna Smith as milkmaids. Returning toImke.0' now and then we see the millionaire play-boy Qarwin Bennett. Jim Leak is now employed by Ionia County as chief snow-drift smasher Larry Stalter has taken over the WION Request Club. A book was 1ust placed on the best seller list entitled Wwe Two' by Dawn Durkee and Margo Goodemoot. .

We see a scissor business has been established in our home town by Jerry Piercefield and Carlene Fuller. They always were Wcutups.n Carl Lachniet has settled down by Lowell. It seems he always did like that place. In Paris, the fashion center of the world, we see Dick Wolfe designing bathing suits. We find Peter Benedict 1, a tight rope walker in Barnum and Bailey Circus. - Jerald Cook has taken over his dad's filling station and Nancy Eash is helplng hlm out. Alice Gra gndPaula Des ran es have completed their secretarial course and Botg have good o s. Jud Galla her has been entered in the annual Powder-Puff Cross- Country lute Race. Real driving skill is needed. Nick Contreras has become a bookkeeper for 4 large concern down South. We see Dean Shellenbarger is scheduled for a fight with Chuck Davis We just heard a book had been published by the title 'Secrets of Good-grooming' written by Barbara McCaul. We find Dee Kloss working as aalady nprivate eye.'- Back in our home town of Lake O' we see Swift's Gpeenhougg has sold out to a couple of former Lake 0' graduates, Doris Normlngton and Marion Osenga. ' Peter Trumgower has joined the WHouse of Davidn. Jim Streeter has become a motorcycle cop. We see Larry Dye hasboughtout nFarmer Peets Quality Meats.' Art Haas is now editing thenWTrue Confession' magazine. Working as his Private Secretary-is A1ma'Gray. Madeline Hunt is now wife of the noted Woodland mayor. Russell Hewitt has just finighgd schoolwhere he studied how to become a good salesman. Bernard Hewitt is now running his own farm. He seems to be doing very well. Ronald YOPKNDBS gone into the used car business. N L nsin we find other former classmates. Shirle Anwa has eet upeggusgkeeplng. Elaine Bennett and Eileen gpeas Have also changed their names and are doing the same.
