Congratulations to the class of 1946 Your publication of a yearbook is a real accomplishment You have had the pleasure of creating a fine book and in the years to come the book will afford even greater pleasure as you live over happy high school days Even though this is the first class in 5 years to grad uate with our country not at war we find military demands upon your members to be very real To those who have fin ished may there come the satisfaction of a task well done To the several honorably discharged veterans in this class we extend a further welcome home and a salute for another accomplishment, high school graduation Best of luck to all of you Zdwff To the CLASS of 1946 go my sincere wishes for a life time of peaceful endeavor However, as your predecessors so sorrowfully learned, peace is not handed to any people just because they wish it Peace must be won with the same de termination and sacrifices that carried this nation to vic tory in 1945 You must ever zealously guard against those who in the name of peace would lead you to further conflict The Brother ood of lan dare not be an idle dream it has be learn to live together as equals, or we will surely die to gether Your own security will never be certain until men everywhere are secure focal?
