CLASS SONG We now must leave you Dear old Lake O' High Though we can have memories, We hate to say good bye You have given us 1ov That will linger near, And each little memory Will always be so dear Never will we forget Our happy sohool days here Now our school days are ended We find that we must part, Souls full of sadness, Sorrow in each heart We now go forth, Perhaps to meet no more Although we're thrust Into a world filled with war, We will make this land A land worth fighting for Doris Mote Mary Poff CLASS DOEM Ve are the Seniors of '45 To be good students we all did strive To do the very best we could, But that wasn't always very good In the fall of '41 Our high school career had just begun We same to school and sneaked around, And tried to make sure we wouldn't be found But the days went by and soon the year, And so did vanish all our fear We got acquainted with L O H B The Freshmen, teachers, and all the rest Each semester we had to take our tests, And we'd all sigh and sit at rest When they were over, and we could smile And go back to school in the old style Last year it was our task To put out the Trojan By all the staff We tried to do the best we could And of course, we think, we did right good Our high school days have some and gone It seems like yesterday was when We came to high school to begin But four short years have slipped away, And now comes graduation day, When, with a lot of work and a lot of fun Our high school diploma we all have won The teachers, of course, have done their part To give to us, in life, a start And we thank them each and every one, For all the things that they have dons Now the time has some to say good bye To the students and faculty of Lake O' High So, so long, teachers, so long, friends, We're going out into the world to make amends By Doris Mote MOTTO We have crossed the bey, the ocean lies before us FLONER Gardenia COLORS Blue and hlte O 4 I By . 2 And I'1l admit, they d1dn't seem long.
