1949 ALBERT MICHEL Came to Lake Mills from lllmois his junior year and won a letter in basketball which made hm a member of the L Club that year He took part in forensic work was in the con test play and both class plays He was on the Lambda Mu staff 4 camera club 3 mixed chorus 3 4 and mass chorus 4 ack was vice president of the stu dent council 4 and president of the senior class Honor studtnt Major Lanquaqt Went out for football I 2 asketball l 2 4 l 2 3 4 winning 3 major and minor awards in these sports He took part in the old time basketball ex hibition A member of the L 2 3 4 and also too part in both debate and foren sics Writing was down by Bob for tht Blue and Gold 3 4 and he was editor of the Cat Call 4 and also a member of the Lambda Mu staff He was vice president of the freshmen class secretary of the senior class acted in the contest play md both class plays Also was on the stu dent council 4 treasurer f the youth council camera clut 3 and color guard in the band 4 Honor student Major Science CAROLYN BARTEL Carolyn was in the G.A.A. I, 2. 3, 4, won numerals and letters and was recorder ' her junior year. She was on the Lambda Mu staff 2, a member of the girls' glee club l, mixed chorus 2, 3, 4. and mass chorus 4. She was treasurer of the junior class and was in both class plays. Carolyn was a member of the camera club her junior year, participated in forensics, and took part in the March of Dimes drive. High honor student. Major: Science and Commercial. LOIS MARKHAM Lois was a four year member of the GAA and won num erals and a pin She was trea surer 3 took part in forensics and both class plays She was a member of the B 6 G 4 Lambda Mu 3 4 editor 4 She. was a memaer of the girls glee clu l mixed chorus 2 3 4 and mass chorus 3 4 m nd 234 Lois was v president of her senior class member of the camera club r ember of the student council and was in charge of the Marcn of Dimes drive High honor student Major Science and Language RUTH PINKE Ruth was a four year mem ber of the GAA vice presi dent both 2 and 4 and won all her letters and a pm She was on the Lambda Mu staff 3 4 mixed chorus 4 and prompter for the junior class play She took part in forensics was class treasurer 1 4 and was in the band 2 3 4 She a o participated in the March of Dimes Honor student Major Science IANET EDWARDS anet was a member of th . .A. 2, 3. 4.
