At the first meeting the band elected Harland Strauss, president. Bob Petruska. vice president. Chuck Woellfer, secretary and treasurer. and Iimmy Goers Student Council representative. The band sponsored a dance, featuring Dave Macs Band, to raise money to buy instru- ments. At Christmas the band participated in the musical program presented under Mr. Else's direction. They also furnished music for all home football and basketball games, the Red Cross rally and the Farmers Institute.
