This year's Symphonic Band consisted of 50 people. They performed three major concerts this year. They participated in the Citrus Music Festival and District Concert Contest. This band is designed to prepare the students for Wind Ensemble. The Concert Band consists of 32 people. This year's Wind Ensemble consisted of 39 people, The Wind Ensemble performed in four major concerts throughout the year. The U.S. Department of Energy was formed. Seattle Slew won the Triple Crown. He was ridden by Stephen Cauthen, age 16, who was the youngest rider to win the Kentucky Derby.
