irls' Softball - A Dremiere Team! The 1984 girls' Softball Team is once again rated as one of the premiere teams in the Five Star Conference. Led by senior captains Mary johnson and Barbara Heim the team, with nine returning players, possessed excellent skills and a winning attitude. The Hawks relied on their tough team defense and the of- fensive punch provided by all-conference candidates Mary johnson, Barbara Heim, Eileen Thiebauth and much improved player Mary Meier to improve on their 1983 conference stand- ing and to defend their District Championship. Because of their skill and dedication the girls tennis team dominated in almost every match in which they participated. To improve their game each member practiced five days a week. Golfers Swin 0 Victory The 1983-84 Silver Hawk Golf teams, coached by Mr. Bouch for the boys and Mr. Pain for the girls, had very exciting seasons. The boys' team was out to de- fend their District title while the girls were looking forward to a victorious season.
