Stout. 172 il'lS' CYDSS Countr Takes I to the 0 Hard work and a lot of dedica- tion has really paid off this year for the girls cross country team. Under the careful guidance of Coach Hammontree, the girls Var- sity and l.V. finished first in almost all their meets this season. Both teams brought home champion- ships in the Five Star Conference and the Seminole County Championships. The girls' Varsity was led by first team Hall country Angie Smith, Lisa Samocki, Martha and Mary Fonseca, while l.V., led by seniors Monica Osgood and Kim Mc- Collum, pushed to a great finish in the state championships.

Team, consisting mainly of sophomores, ran with poise and confidence in their meets this season, and Coach loe Corso is looking forward to continuing improve- ment in the future from his team.
