Tie C Iimaxea' Homecoming Returning to their ever-changing alma mater, the six graduating classes enjoyed all the splendor and pageantry accorded to an LH Homecoming. To these exes, Homecoming meant the enjoyment of a new stadium as they recalled their weekly trips to Richardson in previous years. To some, Homecoming meant a date, a mum, and a dance. To the band and drill-team, it meant the excitement of a pre-game spectacle. To a few girls, Homecoming '69 was extra-special. The eight nominees for Queen were: Bev Carter, Choirg Cris Ber- ry. Wildcat Band: Kay Harvey, Student Councilg Barbara Yarborough, Highland- ettesg Dana Henderson, Sophomore Class, Penny Atwood, Junior Class, Patti Tate, Senior Class: and Barbara Harris, Foot- ball Sweetheart. To them, Homecoming was a convertible ride climaxed by their pres- entation to the song 4'lVIr. Luckyf, To the Wildcat football team, Homecoming meant another victory.
