Change comes to all, and it has come to Lake this year. We at Lake feel we have come through many of our changes with flying colors. We have obtained a new cafeteria, band room, tennis court, stadium, asphalt drive, and a new school group, The High School Quiz Team. The staff hopes that the new teachers who have joined our Lake Faculty this year like our school as well as we do. When you opened this book, You unlocked the door, For Lake High School has many things in store. So turn the key, And flip the page. Go peek through to forget your rage. These stands, now the visitor side, and Flyer field were added to the Lake High School facilities through community efforts so that Varsity football could begin in the Fall of 1960. Paul Clark spearheaded the drive that built and financed the stadium and personally maintained a keen interest in that project for the next decade. It is fitting that this year when the stadium was almost doubled in size and other improvements were made-again through citizen efforts-that we honorM r. Clark.
