Ushering holds an important part in any theater, And, to the ushers of Lake, the bus drivers, much appreciation is due, The present staff of eight ushers was carefully chosen by the school board who picked to the best of their ability, the eight men of the community to whom they think the lives of students of Lake should be entrusted on their daily rides to and from school. Of the eight bussess at Lake five are township-owned, The others are owned by George Beckman, Frederick Shumaker, and Harry Boysen. To those eight men we offer our sincere thanks for the pa- tience and service shown during the past nine months.

THEQTER HWQHQGERS The people of Lake Township have pick- ed for the Lake Theater managers six capable men who have spent their time working to make our theater a place Lake students are proud to spend their twelve years of school. Since these men are from different sections of the broad knowledge community around township they have a of the desires of the them. -. -..y,. v- Ff-ed Nietz Elmer Goodman Wayne Cowles Dale Akenberger The president, Fred Nietz Sr., a for- John Plnnlger mer member of the board, is now ser- ving his first term of office. He represents the north-west portion of the township. Elmer Goodman, the vice-president, represents the central portion of the township. He is completing his fourth year as a board member. The township clerk is John Pinniger. He represents the central portion and this is his fourth year of office. wayne Cowles, a representative from the Millbury district, is serving his fourth year. He is the first Lake Township alumnus to become a member of the board. The representative from the south-west portion of the township is Dale Akenberger. He is a former alumnus of Lake and is completing his second year as a board member Alvin Keller is year in office as the southern part Alvin Keller serving his second a representative of of the township. He too, is a Lake alumnus. -..,,.,m
