The outstandlng event dur lng the year was the selectlon of our class p1ns, which was taken care of properly Our freshman year was brought to a close wlth our graduat1On exercises and the class p ay, HMy Cousln From Sweden Chapter II The fall of 1954 found us fewer ln number Durlng our sophomore year class partles were the main lnterest This year many of our class members, both boys and girls, earned a place on the basketball team Chapter Ill thls year was malnly in basketball, untll the spring of the year The main questlon how to earn money for the Junlor and Senlor Banquet was solved by the production of the Junior play,'Heart Trouble and a varlety program The Junior and Senior Banquet was held on May 8th at the Womanfs Buildlng As the school year drew to a close we looked forward to the tlme when we would becomefdignified SGHlOPS, Chapter IV We began our senior year last fall, wlth forty one members The maln events of the year began soon after the opening day Early in the year, we got our class rlngs Next, we had our plctures taken, without breaking the camera Half of the school year passed before we were aware of it Selecting and orderlng invitations and name cards seemed to be our next perplexing problem Now, b fore realizing lt, our hlgh school days have come to an endl Our Junior and Senior Banquet was held May 15th at the Madlson Tea Room The baccalaureate services were held at the Moline Evangelical Church May 25 The senior play, HCaught on the Rebound was given May ur eventful year was brought to a close with our graduation exercises, on May 28 We feel that our senlor year was a very successful one, under the sponsorshlp of Mr Bruning --4 H rv Q rv - ff jj x in L 'X X jjxx fXlx.f ..
