In Review Lake Forest finished its eighteenth football season with a record of three victories and five setbacks. For the first time in the eighteen year history of the school, the team was without the coach- ing leadership of Mr. Edgar Lindy Lindenmeyer. Mr. Roy Etnyre was made head football coach assisted by Mr. Larry Callan and Mr. Arthur Serfling. The Scouts were greatly handicapped by a lack of experience. From last year' s undefeated conference champions, Lake Forest boasted only two returning letter- men, Captain Bob Stanley and Jim Harris. These four men love to talk football. STANDING: Junior Varsity coach Mr. Arthur Serfiing and freshman coach Mr. Joseph Walton. SEATED: Varsity coach Mr. Roy Etnyre and assistant coach Mr. Larry Callan. After a disastrous afternoon at Hins- dale, Lake Forest rolled over Warren, Libertyville and the Waukegan JV's on successive Fridays but then yielded their final four games of the season. The annual Homecoming game was marred by Crystal Lake, and before a large Mother's Day Crowd, Woodstock snapped the Lake Forest victory march. However, fielding a team made up large- ly of juniors and sophomores, Lake For- est can look forward to a promising sea- son next fall. BACK ROW, Left to Right: Gunnard Stark. Don Jensen.
