Getting to school earlier than anyone else and practicing at night are some of the sacrifices that must be made to be a part of this group. Contests the stageband participated in this year were Mountain View where they received 2nd place, Nachogdoches where the band tied for lst, and Tarleton in Stephenville where they placed 3rd, Other contests attended by the band were McClennon County Jr. College in Waco where the band received lst, and the U . T . A . at Arlington contest where they placed 4th. Several stageband members were recognized for their outstanding musicianship in the contests. These students were Juanita McLain, John Newton, Kevin Roach, and Scott Ohlemeir. TOP LEFT: Kevin Roach. an All Star Band member, plays a solo.
