The Seniors sponsored a Fifties Day to help promote spirit for the Aledo game. The day was climaxed by the election of Mr. and Ms. Fifties. S.O.S. Save our school, three words that meant a lot to the students and supporters of Lake Dallas High School in 1974-75. An up to date appraisal on the land in and around Lake Dallas led many people in the community to believe that the High School should consolidate with the Denton School District. Thanks to the hard work of 7, all the students and many L. D . H . S . supporters consolidation was voted down with 779 against and 100 for. We hope Lake Dallas High School always maintains the high standards she has now, and that the students and community will always be as concerned as they were in the Summer of 1974. Sophomore Terry Spence, endured the August heat for S . O . S . in his gorilla suit. J

Spirit soars as homecoming ' week progresses with the building of floats, a bonfire, parade, and a tremendous victory over Millsap . The final score was Lake Dallas '72 and Millsap 0. A hard working band participates in all halftime activities. The eighth grade float took first place , in the Ir. High with Temperatures rising.
