Sophomores Last fall eight members of this class went out for football. These boys are heading in the right direction for many victories in our Junior and senior years. In basketball our sophomore boys helped roll up the score for many of the victories and trophies. In November, the group co successful magazine campaign which provldediinancial backing for their spring event. , 'Headed for Eden' was the Junior class play presented on Novem- ber 24. A benefit show in December also added to the growing fund. Members met in the homemaking rooms for a party in January where games and dancingprovided the entertainment. ' Freshman Class At the beginning of the school year the Freshman Class elected the following officers: Robert Allen, President, Marian ilson, vice-gresident, Lory Staten, Secretary, and JoAnn Mead, Treasurer. n December we had a skating party, and we included all the . teachers in our invitation list. Members of our class had roles in each of the one-act plays, even in the contest play. The Freshman homemaking class gave a party for small children as part of the unit on 'Child Care. The girls also gave a Coffee - Hour for their mothers.
