He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration CPinance5 from Arlington, VA's Marymont University. CAPT McCarthy has served as Main Propulsion Assistant, USS New Orleans CLPH 115, Navigator, USS Deyo CDD 9895, Chemstry and Radiology Controls Assistant, USS Carl Vinson QCVN 705, Operations Officer, USS Crommelin CPFC 375, Executive Officer, USS South Beach CCGN 375, Engineer Officer, USS Long Beach CCGN 95, and commissioning Commanding Officer, USS Donald Cook. His shore assignments include two tours of duty in the Program and Budget Section of the OPNAV staff, the last as branch head for Navy Program Planning and POM development. His joint assignment was as the Navy representative in the Acquisition Program Managment Division of the Secretary of Defense's staff. CAPT McCarthy is married to the former Cheryl Elizabeth Thornbury of Indianapolis, IN. CAPT McCarthy's personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritiours Service Medal Q2 awards5, Navy Commendation Medal Q2 awards5 and the Navy Achievement Medal.

Naval Forces South as Exercise Director in charge of all Naval Exercises in Southern Command Commander Kaiser reported to USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN CCG 571 as Executive Officer in August 2003 Lieutenant Commander Kaisers personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal Navy Commendation Medal with three gold stars and Navy Achievement Medal He has been awarded five Battle Efficiency ribbons six Sea Service Deployment ribbons three Overseas Service ribbons and various personal service and campaign awards 1 l I I I Officer at Naval Small Craft Instruction and , .
