M ililU4MM . SEVENTH CHANGEOFCOMMAND CEREMONYHELDATSEA On February 26, 1998 the ceremony con ducted to tell the crew that a new Captain has taken command was held. The crew assembled on theflightdeckin Dress Blues. The Captains ar- rived each saluting the Side boys. Chaplain Choi said the benediction. Captain Dobrydney spoke about his career aboard theU SLAKECHAMPLAIN. and the progress made from when he reported aboard dur- ing overhaul conducted i n the shipyard to the operational tempo prior to deployment. Each and every step he gave praise to the crew for their professional ism and conduct. He then read his orders to report to AEGIS Training Command. Captain Surfass read lis orders to report to theLAKECHAMPLAINand take command. After a brief statement of his looking for- ward to taking command the ceremony was concluded with Chaplain Choi givinga final pray. The Captains departed and the crew was dismissed.
