On the right, a picture of the gold souk, where crewmembers enjoyed purchasing their loved ones gold gifts at un- believably low prices. Below, other crewmembers enjoyed visiting leisure land where they participated in many tropical poolside activities, including the wiggling waterslide. Bottom Rt., camels are a large part of the natural habitat in Dubai.

BAHRAIN Bahrain is a group of islands with a history of trading and commerce. The country is accustomed to dealing with foreigners and is very tolerant of western customs. Above, IC2 Shipman is intrigued by having Mexican food in the Persian Gulf(not exactly Rubio ' s, is it???). Top right, a few of the more animated officers enjoy an evening out. Bottom left.
