[■■they’re the best squad of I Freshmen Cheerleaders in the Northern District. They did a really good job for freshmen, commented Kay Mikula, Freshmen Cheerleading Sponsor. Prac- ticing for two hours on Mondays and Wednesdays prepared the group to perform at all of the Freshmen Foot- ball and Basketball games. The cheerleaders made locker stickers for all Freshmen Football players before their games. Along with the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders, they sold pro- grams at all of the home Varsity Foot- ball games. In only its second year, the Varsity Drill Team became a Lake Brad- dock tradition. With their over- whelming enthusiasum and brightly colored uniforms, the girls contributed to every event at which they perform- ed. Leading the talented group were captain Jenny Clapper and co-captains Kortni Buck and Kathy Hassett. These girls practiced over six hours per week to prepare for their performances. “Drill team is really fun. All the girls are just like family,” commented Jenny be Clapper.
