On the whole, it seemed as though there were more positive things to say about being sophomores. There was a wide range of sports and cidbs to participate in that weren't offered before. In addition, some of the many new privileges that the freshman class took advantage of were the smoking lounge and the greater number of dances to go to. Along with the fun, also came the heavier load of classwork and homework to do, because these grades really counted towards the future. The transition from eighth to ninth grade was a big one, but the Class of '85 proved that they could do it with a little work and a lot of spirit!
