II his year's fads and fashions are to- tally the utmost of the gnarly threads. Basically most kids grpoved on polka dots and pinstripes. The pinstripes are usually found in pants, but polka dots are found in most anything, even shoes. The hot new styles in shoes range from moccasin shoes to preppy style pen- ny loafers. Pumps are all the rage in their wild colors of hot pink, aqua, and any other exotic color you can imagine. The funkiest new style in pants are the ones that look like floods. Better known as cropped pants. Basically any- thing goes in this trend. It's casual for girls to wear mini- skirts. Especially with bobby socks and flats. It depends on the individual or what kind of mood she's in when she gets dressed in the morning. O.P. is another awesome fad this year Most preppies think these shirts are the heaviest thing in town. This years earring styles are like utterly grotesque. They are the biggest and gaudiest things going. Not only large earrings but multipierced ears are in. Sunglasses are another biggie this year. The uudes who wear them are bad. People have always worn sunglasses, but ever since the song Sunglasses at Night came out, the students have thrived on them. r ' n ALL WAY
