|| ears may come and years may go but somethings always stay the same, the question asked by underclassmen •will I make It before going Insane? Dances that last until eleven, being set on the hall fountain. Freshman always carrying books, your homework pile resembles a mountain. Football and pep rallies In the fall, working on your Homecoming float, signing and trading school pictures, ordering your Varsity coat. Open campus, eating up town, sneaking your pop Into the hall. Sophomores copying their drivers ed., skipping class to go Into the Mall. Your Junior year is finally here being out of school Is nice, you sign up for the class field trip even though you've been there twice. Having to live through a curfew, your first falling notice Is mailed, Friday's game Is definitely out, being grounded is worse than jail. Your parents let you take their car, you finally get to drive to school, lunch time you cruise through town, you crash into the police chief's pool. The semesters past by quickly, your Senior year starts to near, enjoying sports, band and note passing, you greet the future with a cheer.

II our senior year is finally here, the ACT is in the past, boxes filled with college handouts, our high school years went by fast. Slacking off in all your classes, having gym and art credits waved, knowing you must pass government. Gosh! not a six hour day. Senior Life Cruising together, the radio cranked, a candy bar and pop serve as lunch, eating with your friends on the lawn, sneaking food into class to munch. Counting the days until senior trip, selling candy to raise money, working in the concession stand, hopes of a place warm and sunny. A class vote on where to go. River rafting or the surf? Stuffing in extra ballets, we choose Florida as our turf. Homecoming brought campaign parties, a week full of pesters and pins. Campaigning for your best friends, the speeches made everyone grin. Asking to use your parents' car because your beater will not qo. The midnight movies are real cheap, you take your date to the show. Photocopying off your notes, studying from your best friend's tes£, skipping school without an excuse, doing detention with the rest. Carefree, we enjoy the good times, soon it will be graduation day, choosing a college and career, Good-bye is a hard thing to say.
