CONTENTS S°t H MO e% 41-45 ° ND«° 5,7,36,5 1,53,76 46-50 The 1983 Looking Glass is Dedicated to : Kimberly Ann Smith The 1983 yearbook is dedicated to Kimberly Ann Smith, a classmate of this year's graduating class and a dear friend to us all. She was born December 12, 1964 in Owosso to Ron and Marge Smith. She has two sisters and one brother. In 1975 it was discovered that Kim had ataxia, a genetic, muscle and nerve disease, causing the loss of coordination. She grew up in Laingsburg and attended Laingsburg Community Schools while living at home under the care of a physician. March 10, 1981 she was taken to live at Shiawassee County Medical Facility. Kim is currently enrolled at McCalls Intermediate School. Her hobbies are singing and listening to country music. John Denver is her favorite entertainer. School subjects enjoyed most by Kim are music and reading. The Senior class also nominated Kim as Honorary Homecoming Queen, 1982-83. We dedicate this year’s Looking Glass to Kim because we want her and others to know how much we love and support Kim through her illness. She is a dear, sweet friend and will never be forgotten. 3 Memories MAGIC ! Play It again Sam .
