A time A0 remember the,special and dear.I To look back on football and basketball teams. To remember some of our Homecoming dreams. the floats? Who won the game? Who wore the crowns, When the wolves overcame? This is the twilight of all of their years. As Seniors mature and graduation nears. They spent much time on all sorts of things. And now, one more time, they'll try out their wings, Who were the Juniors? What were their games? Who were the Sophomores? What were their aims? Who were the Freshmen? What were their names? is the twilight of the sports year. imes are all over, so are the cheers, coaches who taught us the plays that we learned, handed out letters that many have earned, was the score? The 1982 Looking Glass is Dedicated To Dawn Yvonne Miller 1963-1979 Dawn Yvonne Miller, a classmate of the 1982 graduating class, was especially known by her love for people. Dawn was born on May 18,1963 to Dean and Diana Miller, and passed away March 21,1979. Dawn was very talented with drawing. She did many pictures and sketches. A Dawn Miller Art Award plaque bears the namesof the most out- standing art student of the year. Dawn touched many lives. She will long be remembered for her strong will and faith in God. Katrina Dalene Karek 1963-1981 Katrina Dalene Karek was also a classmate of the 1982 graduating class. Katrina was born to Frank and Kathleen Karek on December 10, 1963. She passed away on July 24,1981. Katrina was very outgoing in her own way. through band. She had a strong love lor music. Her Interests in art and music led her to play the flute and the piccolo in the band. Katrina was kind to others and very optimistic. She will not beforgotten by her friends or her class- mates. . .. The Sophomore float featured The Old Lady In the Shoe. Sharon Deyarmond played the Old Lady. Chad Schllcher and Oreo Llppert (standing L-R) and Linda Pittman and Sandy Curtis (seated L-R) represented the Sophomore court. The Senior float portrayed a different version of The Three Little Pifls. In this one, the Wolf won. Kandee Hart was the Wolf and Candidates for King and Queen rode In cars or played football. A CLASSIC PARADE L Featured on the freshman float were Dana Ball as Woodstock and Tammy Lee as Snoopy. Freshman court representatives were (standing L-R) 8cott Shaw and Dan Beatty and (seated L-R) Kim Payne and Kelley Rosenqulst. The theme of the Junior float was Hinnochlo. Dr. and Mrs. Herder. The first four days were spent tour- ing in Munich, where the students saw where the 1972 Summer Olympic games were held, historical build- ings and a one day outing to Inns- bruck, Austria. The students met their German families next and attended Melanch- thon Schule, a German school, with their host student. The Americans returned home on Au- gust 30, 1981, exclaiming: It was a wonderful experience, with a lot of fun and learning. Their most important responsibility Is sponsoring the annual homecoming. They also sponsor various assemblies and take charge of the sound system, in the gymnasium, throughout the year.
