Text from Pages 1 - 88 of the 1975 volume:

THE 1975 LOOKING GLASS is dedicated to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Doyle Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Doyle served as educators in the Laingsburg Public School System for many years. Mr. Doyle, whose untimely death this past year was mourned by old and young alike, was one of the finest government and social studies teachers Laingsburg has ever seen. He taught at the high school for a total of 15 years, and gave generously of his time and effort to serve as energetic senior advisor for several classes. During his retired years he remained active in his interest and support for sports, plays, evening en- richment classes and other activities involving young people and the general betterment of our community. Mrs. Doyle, presently retired, taught sixth grade in our schools for a total of 21 years. She continues to be active in senior citizens and other community activities. No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main . . . Any man's death diminishes me, because 1 am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee. John Donne I'll bet it's gonna blow up. HIYA! You can get one of these, one of those and half that. When I search the castles of my mind, old and plesant memories are what I find. The memories are many, the visions are clear. Come with me and remember the way you were 2 My Hair! You're on my hair! Fan! Fans! Always asking for autographs. I wanted to play snare!
