V A ' • The adventures of Dorothy ond her dog Toto, os well OS her newly acquired friends, were por- trayed by the Hilltop Players in December The Little Theater was decorated with the scenes of this well presented production. Dorothy, Maureen McFodden, wished to return to Kansas After all there ' s no place like home! This dream was achieved through the support of her friends. The scarecrow, played by Greg Hen- drickson, was in search of a brain He traveled with Dorothy in the pursuit of the Wizard, Todd Lynch. Along the way, they met the tin man, Jeff Southard, who wanted a heart and the lion, Jomie Eatmon, who desired courage. Their plans were delayed by the mischievious wicked witch, Judith Reddick, who always set traps for these adventurers. Once Dorothy and her friends arriv- ed in Oz, the good witch, Valerie Drown, with the help of her munchkins, saw to it that Dorothy was well token core of. The beautiful production, under the direction of Mrs. Oft, ended with each of the characters receiving their wishes. The students of Loguno Hills High School, os well os the parents, admired the dedication they observed in this theatrical production. The hours of rehersal and stoge work definately poid off for the aspiring cost of The Wizord of Oz The cast was on outstanding representation of the tolent incorporated in the Loguno Hills High School Drama Department. Judith Reddick felt, both the cast and crew were some of the best I ' ve seen. The cost worked together as a team. Moureen Mc Fodden, who played the lead role of Dorothy, stated, Working with the Wizard of Oz cost was one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone was so supportive, and despite all bhe long hours ond hard work, we always managed to hove fun. This creative ploy was one of the fovorite drama productions of the year. ?
