Ancient Roman day was o memorable experience for oIL The ma- jority of rhe Junior class disployed their spirit by dressing in Roman apparel, consisting of white robes, with shiny gold accessories, and decorative leaf or- noments. The Junior doss officers spon- sored an outgoing ossembly during snock ond lunch. There was a gome of tug-of-wor, grope eating contests, Roman Dingo, and the devouring of three six-foot Togo ' s submarine sand- wiches. Robyn Orohood commented, Roman day exhibited the spirit ond creotiveness of rhe Class of ' 89. Another student, SunHI Park, stoted, The experience of Roman day brought everyone closer together The Junior Romans decorofed the quod with vines, leaves, columns and humorous Roman statues.
