Annescia Castillo , in the hurdle s, Debbie Funk , in the high jump and long jump, Merino Oviedo , in the 600 and Jennifer Swonson , with sprints were among the best. Other promising athletes for the future were, Claudia Smedes, Rumiko Matsumofo, Charis Tifield, Linda Flemming, Cindy Sisco, and Shannon Wos- inger . The Frosh Soph boys ream was poced by Ryan Holes , in the hurdles, Doug Equils , for weight events, and Jeff Mc Combs , in the high jump.
