Finding oil three, the Howks, coached by Chris Davis , in his third year at LHHS, found leader- ship from the returning players Pat Pollock guided the Hov ks olong with sup- port from Craig Riggs, Brion Henderson, Don McDaid, Dan Reinhordt, ond Drew DeLeon . Coming off a suc- cessful campaign os freshmen, the sophomores carried those victories throughout the seoson. FROSH A strong balance of agility and height contributed to a successful year for the freshman Hawks cooched by Todd Myott . Utilizing ex- cellent ballhondling skills ond on admirable sense of leadership, the bockcourt of Joy Kim ond Brian Matsen many rimes combined for over forty points o game. Center Russ DeMoloy , as well as starting forwards Gilbert Kim ond teom cap- tain Brian Kessler . provided additional scoring along with Dovid Kwon and Hoo Tron to provide stability for the young, strong Howks.

Complementing their skills were sharp-shooting junior Jason Thompson and sophomores Todd Peterson and Aric Romon Using the oblities of on experienced bench, the Hawks topped the lofty goo! of reaching the century mark when they destroyed Costo Meso at home, 109 to 77 in a well balanced ottock of offensive ond defensive skills.
