Students are tested in ten sub- ject areas: Social Science, Math , Language Arts, Science, Essay, and Interview, Speech, Economics, Fine Arts, and Super Quiz. An OCAD woll in the front office holds the many first, second, and third ploce pla- ques won by the outstanding OCAD teams. Ribbons, certificates, ond a first ploce trophy remind the students of the pride they hove brought to their school and reputation for academic excellence when competing with other schools in the county. OCAD is the ultimote ocodemic competi- tion. During preparotion, you must worl under intense pressure ond commit yourself to hours of after-school study. In return you get fome ond glory if you win, ond even if you do not ocheive first place, you leave with better communication ond test-roking skills, and with greoter self- confidence.
