Foreign Exchange These six students left the security of their school, friends end fomily to experience Q year of on Americon High School What were their first impressions? What do they miss most obout home? And how is LHHS different from the school in their country? I wanted a year off between Advonced levels and college and AFS sounded like a fun thing to do. I miss the meeting places of the young in the pubs ond nightclubs. -Andrew Coword My best friend went through the some thing lost year and I thought it would be fun. The people of Calif ore so nice and friendly. I miss the food, especiolly chocolote and breakfast. ■Sven Floess I wonted to leorn the language better ond to see American life. I reolly like the Collf weather — it ' s reolly hot and I like thot. Schools in Greece are smaller, but we don ' t hove the opportunity to choose our classes. -Debbie Hlofopoulou My first Impression? So mony cars and the freeways were so big I miss the good food, my fomily, friends and the cute boys.
