The sophomores were very spirited and dressed in the same style as the 196O's. Looking through the tinted glasses, Debbie Rose spread the word of peace. Some other activities of the sophomores were chanting to music and singing songs from the era. Flower child Karen Stevens listened to Mr Tambourine Man. Looking around the quad that day you could see hippies like Cami Bullock and Heather Hare who modeled their idea of groovy clothes. The hippie day was a great success and showed the tremendous spirit of the class of 1989.
