K .gms if... gf' 4- 9- The Hawks Varsity Baseball team worked hard all year preparing for the '87 season in the Pacific Coast League. They practiced diligently on the fundamentals of the game and worked hard raising funds to better their improving program. They worked hard in school lunch lines, cleaned warehouses, and sold ads and signs to help earn the much needed money. This enabled them to buy a new por- table batting cage and a P.A. system along with making the playing field one of the best in Orange County. ln addi- tion to these new improvements the Hawks prepared themselves by Aerobicising and working out as a team at a local health club. The Hawks had many players return from last year's team. All these added up to an enjoyable and productive '87 season. The team huddle at the beginning of each inning is a time to discuss the situations at hand and get fired up for the game. While Coach and Jon talk over important strategies.
